Except in the summer months, Skat Card Game players tend to meet at 4 p.m., the second Thursday of every month at the Club. This trick-taking, three-player, German card game dates back to roughly 1810! The first American Skat League was founded in St. Louis, Missouri in 1898.
This group welcomes new players who are familiar with the game, and they’ve also opened up opportunities to learn on select Friday evenings – carrying forward this fun and social, centuries-old form of German table-top entertainment!
