The BoogieTanz Kabaratt is a new group that focuses on the joy of learning and practicing of traditional German Folk Dancing as well as other dance types including Polka, Waltz, Ballroom, German line dances, fun Oktoberfest dances (for example, the Chicken dance) and Karneval dancing.
We have Sunday practices at 10 a.m. at the German American Society for any age and skill level. We also have performer practices Thursday nights at 6:30 p.m., for the Prinzengarde – a group that is part of Karneval.
Membership is $10/year. Please feel free to come by Sunday mornings to learn more, check out lessons and participate in practices!
