About Us
The Schützenverein participates in 10-meter, Olympic-style, competitive shooting with 0.177-caliber air rifles. We offer two membership levels: A competitive membership for those looking to compete against other members of our own group to determine the ’Scharfschütze’ or sharpshooter. Also available is an auxiliary membership for those who like to shoot but do not want to compete in tournaments.
Outside of local tournaments, our group travels to other Schützenverein clubs in places like Las Vegas and Anaheim to compete in a fun, 3-day tournament called Schützenfest.
We have an open range night most Fridays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. where members practice and guests are also welcome to come to enjoy the range and Club bar. An inexpensive dinner is often served to round out the evening making it a fun night out.
